Towards a Coherent Voting Advice System

I just found this Technorati site that collects links to political blogs. This could be the start of a coherent voting advice system:
  1. Use that site to find blogs from folks you want to hear from.

  2. Maintain of archive from those sites, so you have older posts as well as the most recent ones.

  3. Use microformats or web scraping at the League of Women Voters site (Smart Voter) to find out what you can vote on. (You enter your address, and you get all of your choices, along with some useful information.)

  4. Create an aggregator that uses voting information (c) to filter content (b) collected from feeds (a).

  5. Make the information available in outline form, so it's all there in one place when you're ready to make voting decisions.
