In April of this year Oracle finalized its acquisition of Sauce Video and with that CX Content's plan of having a glass to glass video solution was solidified. A third (1/3) of all online activity is spent watching video (siteefy.com) - ONE THIRD! Video consumption is quickly becoming the favorite medium for users to interact with a brand and is top of mind for every marketer around the globe.
For Oracle CX Content product strategy it was not just about building a centralized asset hub, Smart Content, taxonomies, simplified UI, etc - these are all phenomenal features but at the core it was about simplifying the world of content creation, curation and management.
