Insights into the ideas and innovations that are transforming project planning and delivery

Three Reasons to Attend Oracle Future of Projects 2018

What do Richard Branson, Katherine Johnson, Steven Chu, and Joe Rospars have in common?

They’re all tech innovators.

Their interests may vary—ranging from business and space to energy and politics—but their infectious zeal for leveraging technology to positively impact people’s lives remains the same. Each of these individuals is interested in the process of discovering new ways to do things.

These days, the construction industry is no stranger to innovation, either.

According to Research and Markets, the global construction industry is predicted to hit an estimated $10.5 trillion by 2023. Against that backdrop, some visionaries see the “dawn of a digital age” in construction, where innovation is a competitive imperative. These conditions present a perfect opportunity for E&C professionals to gather and discuss what technologies are transforming our businesses today – and potentially disrupting it tomorrow.

On December 6, 2018, in London, current and prospective customers are invited to the second-annual Oracle Future of Projects event. This exclusive gathering will include industry round tables, customer-led presentations, and plenty of time to network with peers from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

This event will feature numerous customer-led discussions of how organizations have leveraged tech solutions to overcome challenges and improve project outcomes. In addition, we’ll feature several sessions devoted to "understanding tomorrow, today" and the current state of innovation in project delivery, including:

  1. What does the worksite of tomorrow look like?
    • Oracle Construction and Engineering Innovation Officer Burcin Kaplanoglu will lead a session exploring how disruptive technologies are reshaping how and where we work today and tomorrow.
  2. How can we leverage digital innovation for humanity?
    • Mott MacDonald’s Technical Director of Projects Controls & PMO Saurabh Bhandari will explore how digital transformation can positively impact our global community.
  3. How will renewable energy improve our lives in the future?
    • Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy’s project and implementation manager Dana Cojocari will discuss how digitalization is playing a key role in the future of wind energy.

Innovation is clearly thriving in today’s construction and engineering industry. Don’t fall behind the curve. Learn more about Oracle Future of Projects 2018 and register today!
