Tomorrow is All Day DevOps

I am super stoked to be a part of the All Day DevOps conference tomorrow, October 17! It's the third installment of the conference, and it is one of my top three devops conferences in the year along with Devopsdays and Devops Enterprise Summit. I track chaired the Cloud Native sessions the first year along with fellow Agile Admins Ernest Mueller and James Wickett, and I'm excited to do it again! It's much, much, much bigger this year with over 125 speakers, 24 hours long, and five session tracks including CI/CD, Cloud Native Infrastructure, Cultural Transformation, DevSecOps, and SRE.

I'm looking forward to listening to some great speakers on each track.

If you need some convincing to register, here are three reasons:

  1. It's a FREE conference. Register here: https://www.alldaydevops.com/devops/register. There are over 25,000 folks registered.
  2. You can watch it from your bed. All of the talks are broadcast online via google hangouts and YouTube. Of course, you don't have to view it alone if you don't want to- there are plenty of watch parties as well.
  3. Your Cloud Native Labs Evangelists, Jesse Bulter and I will be speaking on the Cloud Native Infrastructure track!

Jesse's session will cover Serverless computing and how the FN project fits into the picture. He'll be speaking online from 12:00pm-12:30pm CST.

I will be speaking on Kubernetes and Cloud Native security, and give you some practical tips on how to keep your K8s environments more secure with platform extensions and examples. You can catch my talk from 8:00am-8:30 am CST.

I will also be moderating the Cloud Native Infrastructure talk track from 11am-5pm CST, so plenty of time to catch me on the ADDO Slack group. I hope you can make it.

Catch you then, and, uh, time to finish up my slides!!!

We're excited to have the Cloud Native team with us. Karthik was one of the first to join us for the inaugural event two years ago and his support has been unwavering. Looking forward to making this an incredible event for the community.
