Migrating integration to the cloud

There are many components of your IT infrastructure that can be deployed to the cloud. The most well-known option is to run your applications in the cloud using Software-as-a-Service. It is also possible to run your database systems in the cloud using Database-as-a-Service (Daas). It is even possible to run your entire IT software and hardware infrastructure in the cloud using Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS). So, why not run your integration architecture in the cloud? It is possible and called Integration-as-a-Service (IaaS). Integration-as-a-Service (IaaS) is not to be confused with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (also IaaS). Infrastructure-as-a-Service is running your hardware infrastructure in the cloud. I will explore this hot new cloud migration area in my next few blogs.
Comments:

I think your blog on "integration as a service" would be real interesting to look forward to.
Why not have "UserInterface as a service" as well.... just "out of box" thinking... isn't it!!!
