Oracle Coherence 3.7 is now Generally Available

- Oracle Coherence 3.7 Elastic Data introduces breakthrough technology for seamlessly managing data across memory and disk-based devices, including RAM, Solid State Disk (SSD), and Storage Area Networks (SAN) enabling a dramatic increase in data capacity. Elastic Data leverages specially-tuned journaling algorithms to take advantage of high-throughput / low-latency devices such as Solid State Disks, also known as "flash" hard drives, enabling near memory speed access to data regardless of storage medium.
- Oracle Coherence 3.7 introduces dynamic load balancing of Coherence*Extend clients and automatic proxy discovery, providing metric-based routing of connections across the proxy server farm while significantly simplifying the configuration necessary for supporting large-scale environments.
- Oracle Coherence 3.7 introduces integration with the F5 BIG-IP Load Traffic Manager (LTM) and SSL Acceleration technologies. LTM integration allows users to secure, optimize and load balance application traffic from Coherence*Extend clients across any number of servers in a Coherence cluster. SSL Acceleration automatically offloads the related CPU-intensive encryption and decryption to a high-performance hardware-accelerated device designed to handle SSL transactions more efficiently.
- Oracle Coherence 3.7 introduces native integration with Glassfish via the Coherence*Web SPI for Glassfish, providing "no code change" installation and configuration of Coherence*Web, making it dramatically easier for Glassfish users to scale their applications.
