Monday, Oct 22, 12:30 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. | Moscone West - Room 2002
This session is directed at the CIO and the IT professional who is being asked to architect a machine learning platform. As demands for machine learning use cases have grown across nearly every organization, it has become increasingly challenging for IT leaders to support these use cases in an efficient and scalable manner. Tasks such as provisioning resources, building environments, and managing deployments are taking up too much support hours and preventing organizations from developing scalable workflows for building and deploying AI solutions. In this session learn how the Oracle’s data science platform can make data science workflows more self-service, and help IT teams better support growing data science teams and use cases.
Speaker: Colin Schmidt, Sr. Director Software Engineering, AL & ML Platform, Oracle
Monday, Oct 22, 3:45 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Moscone West - Room 3022
In the past two years, AI technologies have transformed the way we interact with systems and devices across channels. Chatbots have become widely adopted, and Oracle has started to evolve them into digital assistants that can complete user tasks. A digital assistant is able to leverage AI to make recommendations, possess many skills, initiate conversations, and use cognitive services to provide an ambient human experience. In this session see how Oracle Autonomous Digital Assistant Cloud can transform enterprises with next-generation conversational AI technologies.
Speakers: Suhas Uliyar, Vice President, Product Management, Oracle AI Bots and Mobile, Oracle, Sanga Viswanathan, VP Engineering, AI Bots & Mobile, Oracle
Monday, Oct 22, 3:45 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Moscone West - Room 3020
Chatbots are one of the first widespread uses of artificial intelligence and natural language processing. They enable end users to interact with data or a service in the most natural way possible: through natural languages and a conversational UI. In this hands-on lab explore this new technology that is set to transform the way we interact with enterprise services. Develop and train a chatbot by defining intents, utterances, and entities, and then design the conversation flow, connect the chatbot to a back-end APIs, and expose the chatbot in Facebook Messenger. Attendees must have a Facebook account to participate.
Speakers: Bruno Henriques, Product Management, Oracle AI Bots and Mobile Platform, Oracle, Stephen Mcritchie, Consulting Member of Technical Staff, Bots AI and Mobile, Oracle, Sweta Patel, Oracle America, Inc.
