Oracle’s Integrated Cloud Platform Shines Brightly for Ventureforth

Oracle partner Ventureforth recently leveraged Oracle Cloud Platform to rapidly build and deploy a new maintenance scheduling application – vWork Scheduler  – which they are making available to customers as a SaaS offering with no upfront investment for services, hardware or software.

vWork Scheduler is an enterprise-class Java application which resides in the Oracle Public Cloud and interfaces with the customer’s on premise Oracle E-Business Suite Enterprise Asset Management (Oracle eAM) solution over a secure connection. By utilizing the Oracle Cloud Platform – including Oracle Database Cloud and Java Cloud services - Ventureforth customers can quickly bring an enterprise-class workforce scheduling tool into their operation while slashing IT costs and accelerating time-to-value.

York Water selected vWork Scheduler to optimize resources and help manage work orders as part of their Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) solution.  Simplicity and a low barrier for entry - from both a price and technology perspective – along with a very short time to benefit made the decision easy.

To find out more about how York Water is getting value from vWork Scheduler, attend their 'A PaaS to the Cloud: vWork Scheduler' session at the Modern Supply Chain Experience event in San Jose, CA Jan 25-26, 2016.
