In our previous post, we demonstrated how Oracle Identity Cloud Service can make it easy for you to integrate single sign-on with ServiceNow. In this post, we will show you how the same technique can be used to achieve similar identity integration with Slack.
Modern cloud applications require modern identity and access management (IAM) architectures. Oracle Identity Cloud is built on an API-first architecture that leverages the power of open standards such as SCIM, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect to deliver highly flexible and portable integrations.
The below tutorial walks you through the complete end-to-end process starting with accessing the signing certificate from your identity provider metadata and creating certificate content, followed by configuring workspace settings in Slack. Once the SAML authentication settings are configured, you can head back to Oracle Identity Cloud and select Slack from the App Catalog for quick setup. Finally you will learn to enable synchronization and activate your target users to begin using SSO with Slack.
Watch this video from the Oracle Learning Library YouTube channel for a detailed walk-through of creating SSO identity integration with Slack using Oracle Identity Cloud.
