Leading services from Dyn and Zenedge deliver greater capabilities and seamless integration with enterprise-class IaaS and PaaS services at a significantly reduced cost
Since the acquisition of Dyn in 2016 and subsequent acquisition of Zenedge, the engineering teams have been working diligently to integrate Dyn’s products and services into the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform. Enterprises can now leverage the DNS, Web Application Security, and Email Delivery services within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and enhance their applications with a comprehensive platform to build, scale, and operate their cloud infrastructure.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is specifically architected to provide industry-leading performance, predictability, security, and governance required for enterprise workloads. From a single console, API and Identity system, customers now have access to a full Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) portfolio of cloud services including compute, storage, network and advanced platform services such as Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Digital Assistant, and Kubernetes, as well as all Oracle Cloud services and applications to support existing and future workloads.
Additionally, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure provides access to the following innovations:
With the completion of integrating Dyn and Zenedge into the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform and a simplified pricing model, Oracle has been able to extend the suite of platform features which were not previously available on the Dyn Platform, including:
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure customers can leverage the consumption flexibility and cost benefits of Oracle’s Universal Credits subscription model. Universal Credits provide the industry’s most flexible buying and consumption model for cloud, and offers a single set of cloud credits that can be applied across all current IaaS and PaaS services as well as immediate access to newly released services.
Dyn and Zenedge customers (including Standard DNS, Managed DNS, Managed DNS Express, Email Delivery and Web Applications Firewall - WAF) can now also leverage the benefits of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s globally deployed Anycast DNS service along with full access to advanced traffic management features. Additionally, customers will enjoy the benefits of an integrated user experience across platforms and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s extensive features, performance, and capabilities at or below the cost of first-generation services.
Our goal is to provide the ability for Dyn and Zenedge customers to take advantage of the new capabilities and cost savings of the next generation Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform without disruption. To facilitate your transition, we have provided self-service tools and instructions to upgrade services from the first-generation platform to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure here, and there are additional support resources available to assist customers and partners.
