Introducing Email Delivery on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

I'm thrilled to announce the launch of Email Delivery for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform! Simply put, Email Delivery enables customer applications to send email with a higher rate of success of it reaching the intended audience. Email Delivery was built from Oracle Dyn's highly reputable Email Delivery service and is now available in our U.S. West (Phoenix, AZ) region. Customers from any region can deliver email using the Email Delivery service. Other regions are coming soon. 

Despite email volume continuing to rise year over year, getting email into the intended inbox continues to remain a significant challenge, even for reputable senders. With Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Email Delivery, that challenge becomes exponentially easier thanks to reliability, scalability, and ease of use. For over a decade, Oracle Dyn has helped overcome the challenges of inbox placement with one of the industry's cleanest cloud-based networks. Clean network equals better reputation, which equals higher success rates for email delivery. 

Email Delivery is a service that is used to deliver business critical information to customers and users. These activities can include transactional notifications such as purchase receipts, password resets, welcome emails and more. Bottom line, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Email Delivery provides a positive end-user experience for your customers. 

Features in this release include:

• Sending via Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) - an Internet standard for electronic email transmission.
• Sender Policy Framework (SPF) - used by email receivers to detect email spoofing by checking if the Internet Protocol (IP) is explicitly authorized to send for that domain. 
• Suppression List Management - Critical bounces and complaint addresses are automatically added to the suppression list and can be viewed and managed from within the console or via API.
