Announcing OCI Public DNS support for DNSSEC
We’re excited to announce domain name system security extensions (DNSSEC) support for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Public DNS service. DNSSEC cryptographically validates DNS responses on the public internet. DNSSEC on OCI is optional, utilizes inline signing of DNS responses for increased ease of use and decreased complexity, and is provided free of charge.
Using OCI Network Load Balancer to provide highly available DNS services
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) has recently released two additions to the OCI Network Load Balancer service in commercial regions globally: a DNS health check and support for backends in some remote networks. This new functionality significantly expands the utility of our NLB into a specific and commonly requested use case: the load balancing and fault tolerant handling of DNS traffic to more than one DNS server.
