Sun Ray on 10

I've just been asked how we got the Sun Ray software running on Solaris 10, even though it is not supported. Well I was lucky in that I did nothing and let Paul's team solve that one. However if you wanted to try out Solaris 10 and the Sun Ray then check out Thin Guy's blog. Try out the new SRSS software that can be downloaded.

I just can't wait for it to hit my local Sun Ray server so I can get the improved audio on my Sun Ray @ home.

I was interested when I read that SRSS V3 is not supported on Solaris 10. I jumped a Solaris 10 machine on Monday and loaded SRSS V3 with no problems at all. I have three Sun Rays running off the server. What problems exist that I am yet to encounter?

In my experience once you have it working all is fine, we have 3 Servers running 10 (o.k. only one running 10 and 2 running nevada) with over 100 users and countless appliances running 3.0, but it is not supported so we will move as soon as we can to 3.1. Even then our nevada systems are always living on the edge.
