Perfect Cycling morning

Just four riders this morning, which was a shame as it was a perfect morning for cycling.

It was with great pleasure that someone else suggested we go to the Devil's Punch Bowl. One of my favourite rides as it is a real out and back ride rather than a loop. I've always preferred to go somewhere on my bike rather than just potter or race around a circular route with no real purpose. Also that the ride is a decent distance makes it feel more worthwhile.

70 miles @ what I was amazed to discover on returning home was 17.2 mph average. I thought we were taking it easier!

Now if I had remembered that my new phone has a camera I could have snapped some photos.

Chris, A short note to inform you that novel front + rear suspension will soon be available for ALL bicycle types. (Includes 2007 'featherweight' road and ATB bikes.) Approximately one year of 'actual' multiple surface testing was required for said assemblies to evolve. Associated R&D needed a far longer period of time.
