Media coverage

I 'm always surprised when a national paper prints a positive article about cycling. Today we have one actually acknowledging what most cyclists know about cycle lanes and cycle paths, they are more dangerous than being on the road. Well worth a read.

What is more it was in the motoring section.

I dream of a newspaper having a cycling section.

Surprised? I'm astonished, ten times over. The guy must cycle-commute, the only answer. I could rant and rant and rant about cycle lanes in Ireland but you've heard me ranting too many times already :) Great article, James, cheers.

I would be more suprised when a newspaper actually covers the conflicting congestion charge/promotion to lower traffic-emmisions with the current decision from major raillines to ban carriage of bicycles on trains during peak hours. Wondering if you want to get to work on a bike but you want to commute the first leg of your journey to central london how you do it?
