months ago I blogged
about Singapore Airlines offering StarOffice 8 to the business travelers via its back-seat entertainment system. Back then the
airlines was offering this in selected routes.
It looks like they have expanded the offering since the initial rollout. I was reading an article about the inaugural commercial flight of Airbus A380 (you know, that biggest passenger plane in the world...)
And there it was:
"For those passengers who wanted to work during the flight, they didn't even need a laptop.
In any class, they could plug a thumb drive into a USB port on the seat and work away on a system based on Sun Microsystems' StarOffice."
