Oracle NoSQL Database Slides From HPTS

Here are my slides from my HPTS. There are some slides with performance figures starting at slide 28.

Comments:

Charles, it's funny…we've built a very similar system at Yammer. The primary difference is instead of building a client-server we've built it as an embedded library so your application can ride right on top of the sharded, replicated BDB-ness. No need to do reads/writes over the network, just read/write directly to BDB JE.

We now have two production applications using this layer. One is our new message feed database. The second is a transaction stream of updated objects that need to be reindexed by the search system. We have a third system also being worked on that hasn't been released yet.
