Oracle Acquiring Sun

The FAQ talks a lot about this. All I can say is that this is that from my personal point of view this is really exciting news. I'm looking forward to working even more closely with my Sun colleagues.

Same here. I'm looking forward working more closely with our Oracle / SleepyCat colleagues.

hi, Looking at the FAQ we see most of the discussion on Java and Solaris. A lot of people in the industry are also interested to know as to what happens to the following products. - Sun's hardware business and competition with other hardware vendors. - Mysql customers and if any strategic engine integration with Oracle's engine. - JDS/Application Server and other products on the Java Desktop - Openoffice and virtualization products.
