New Exam Score Report Process Coming Soon

Hi Everyone!

I want to give you a preview of a process change that will be coming in the next few weeks. We will soon announce a change in the way that Oracle certification candidates receive their exam scores and score reports (after they take an exam).

Once the change occurs you will need to have an Oracle Web Account (in order to access your exam score). This is the account that is used to log into the Oracle website for things such as OTN access, software downloads and other Oracle services.

If you already have an Oracle Web Account then you are already in good shape! If you do not have an Oracle Web Account the you should create one now (in preparation for this change)!

Look for additional announcements and detailed information in the coming weeks.

Hi Paul,

Will these changes apply to the candidates that have already written their exams? For example, I wrote an Oracle Java exam last year - will I see a different score report, when I login to my Oracle account (after Oracle implements these changes)?

With respect,

Hi Mala,
Once these changes take effect, you will not see any score reports in your account at, but you will be able to see a history of the exams you have take through Pearson VUE. You will be able to view score reports for all exams you have taken through Pearson VUE, in your account at

This is true for all candidates - new and existing. You will see the same score report in CertVeiw that you could previously access through Pearson VUE. We are not changing score reports, only the way that you access them.

Please go ahead and authenticate your CertView account now. You will also need to be sure that you have an Oracle Web Account.

1. Go to
2. If you do not have an Oracle Web Account, select the option at the top of the page to create one.
3. If you have an Oracle Web Account, select 'Sign In'
4. If you have not already authenticated your account, you will be taken to an authentication page where you will be required to enter the following information from your Pearson VUE account - First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Oracle Testing ID and City.

Once the new changes go live, you will be able to view your exam results (score reports) here.

I appeared for Oracle ATG exam and got 61% but passing score was 66%.

I am pretty sure that my score should be at least 70%. Please let me know how can I raise this required to reevaluate my score. My exam registration number is 252290607

In order to have your exam reviewed, you will need to contact Oracle Certification Support You will also receive an email from Oracle, and indicate which items you feel were incorrect or which items you had issues with. You will need to be very specific on your concerns about the information included in the item.

We typically need a compelling reason to manually review an exam - for instance, if you discovered a potential issue with an exam. These exams have been rigorously tested prior to being released in production, so we feel very confident that our exams are correct and valid, but if you discovered a potential issue, please outline it in detail so that we can have someone take a look.

Hi Paul,

I had taken my "Oracle Certified Professional, Java 6 Programmer", certification through prometric, 2 years back. Though i have created my account with Pearson and Oracle, as suggested. But i am still struggling, where i can view my score online either on Oracle or Pearson website.

Kindly advise.

Hi Sahil,
If you took your Java SE 6 Programmer exam at Prometric, you will no longer be able to access your score report.

You should be able to go to and authenticate your account using the email address and Oracle Testing ID from your Pearson VUE profile ( and view the certification in your certification history, but you will no longer be able to access those exam results.

When you created your Pearson VUE account, if Pearson assigned you a different Oracle Testing ID than your Prometric ID, you will need to request to have the two IDs merged. You can get help with this process at

I am hoping that you've received feedback by now, regarding the manual authentication. If not, you can contact Oracle Certification Support for assistance.
