NEW CERTIFICATION: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Forms Developer

Oracle Certification announces the release of the new "Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Forms Developer" certification. This certification is for those with a strong foundation in SQL and PL/SQL and use Oracle Forms Builder 11g to rapidly build scalable, high-performance applications for the web.  This certification covers topics such as: designing code for reuse, using GUI controls and writing triggers, troubleshooting applications and using WebUtil to interact with client computers.

A prerequisite for this certification is either the Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate (OCA) or the Oracle Forms Developer Certified Professional (OCP). One exam is required: 1Z0-151, "Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g: Build Applications with Oracle Forms" which is currently in beta. The exam is therefore available at a significantly reduced rate ($50 USD) during the beta period. Exam appointments are available now to take this exam at Pearson VUE testing centers worldwide. Visit pearsonvue.com/oracle and register for exam 1Z1-151.

You can get all preparation details on the Oracle Certification website, including exam objectives, number of questions, time allotments, and pricing.

I appear in 1Z0-147 exam,I gave exam in prometric center(Focus training institute, Pune) within three click I come out from exam without accepting any tern and condition.
with passing score 0%, because I did not get the chance to attempt a Question and End Exam screen come to me with no option to go back.
As much as I remember Here are the steps with I followed:

1)I initially got screen for welcome certification test, which had
next button in the corner

2) The second screen has terms and condition page, where I could not
see any agree and disagree page on that, again I had same button next
on the corner of page.which I clicked

3)Next page having instruction to go back on the page else button the
End the Exam. In the glance I clicked in second option rather to go
back.

4)All of sudden I see I come out of the certification Exam with 0% score.

I have also called and Executive, which suggested me to mailed on oracle customer care(pvapcustomerservice@pearson.com), but did not get the reply yet.
I am not sure what all to do next.

Hi Saurabh,
Did you report the incident to the staff at the test center? Did you get an incident number? Did you receive any help from the staff at the test center? I think you should start by contacting Pearson VUE Customer Service. You can find local contact numbers on their website at pearsonvue.com/oracle/contact. If you received an incident number at the test center, have that available. They should be able to assist.

Hi

I have done OCA in 9i. I would like to appear in 1Z0-146 Oracle 11g Advanced PL/SQL. Is that possible.

Q.1. Is this possible to appear directly in 1Z0-146 Oracle 11g Advanced PL/SQL EXAM. Or i need to complete below two exam??

1Z0-051 Oracle Database 11g: SQL Fundamentals I And
1Z0-144 Oracle Database 11g: Program with PL/SQL

then only i could able to go for this 1Z0-146 Oracle 11g Advanced PL/SQL EXAM

Q.2. If it is possible to appear IZO 146 exam directly. So in that case I wll get Oracle Advanced PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional or not?

It would be very helpful if some one help me out here with answering this questions.

Hi Hindol,
Since you have done 9i DBA OCA, you have passed the 007 exam. This will take the place of the 051 or 047 - you do not need to take one of these exams.

In order to get to the 11g Advanced PL/SQL OCP certification, you will need to pass 147 or 144 and then 146.

Esha,
It depends on which certification you wish to pursue. If you are pursuing 11g DBA OCP, you should pass 052 for 11g DBA OCA and then 053 for 11g DBA OCP. You will also need to complete a training course to obtain the 11g DBA OCP certification.
