NEW CERTIFICATION: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Solaris 11 System Administrator

Oracle Certification announces the release of the new "Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Solaris 11 System Administrator" certification. This certification is for experienced Oracle Solaris system administrators with a solid understanding of the UNIX operating system, commands, and utilities and are proficient in key operations such as configuring network interfaces, managing swap configurations, crash dumps, and core files.
Existing Oracle Solaris Professional-level (OCP, SCSA) certification holders (any version) can now upgrade their credentials to Oracle Solaris 11 with a single exam. The "Upgrade to Oracle Solaris 11 System Administrator" exam (1Z0-820) is currently in beta and thus is available at the greatly discounted rate of $50 USD. Exam appointments are available now to take the "Upgrade to Oracle Solaris 11 System Administrator" exam at Pearson VUE testing centers worldwide.
