Pearson VUE Exam Transition: What If I Had An Exam Scheduled at Prometric After May 31?
By Harold Green on May 25, 2011
As you likely know, Oracle University is now making all Java, Oracle Solaris, MySQL, and NetBeans certification exams available for registration through our new test delivery vendor - Pearson VUE - and soon will no longer be available through Prometric. We recently received some questions about what to do if you have an exam booked with Prometric after May 31, when Prometric will longer offer Oracle certification testing.
If a candidate had booked a exam registration date with Prometric with a delivery date after May 31, 2011, this exam registration will be canceled and the candidate will need to be rescheduled with Pearson VUE. Exam registrations after May 31 will be canceled with no charges to the candidate (credit card charges will be credited).
If the candidate used a Prometric voucher to complete the registration, this voucher will remain valid and can be used at Pearson VUE to reschedule the exam. No action is required on the candidates part to revalidate the voucher, nor does the candidate need to request a new voucher to be used at Pearson VUE. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to you testing with Pearson VUE in the near future.
