Fulfillment Email Alias Decommissioned

All Oracle Certification customer service issues previously sent to ocp-fulfillment_ww@oracle.com, should now be submitted as service requests via the new request tool, as support via this email alias ended Monday May 23, 2011.

Managing candidate communications via this new system will enable better issue tracking capabilities and ensure that all issues are handled quickly and efficiently. The integrated tool will also help us to more easily research historical and related issues to enable improved certification communications and business processes.

Note that questions related to Java, Oracle Solaris (Cluster), MySQL, NetBeans or OpenOffice.org exams or certification may currently still be sent to suncert_ww@oracle.com and resolved via email.

We are excited about this new offering and continue to work toward improved customer service for our OCP community. Thank you for your cooperation!

Dear Guest,
If you are still using the email alias, you will not receive an answer. You should submit any questions/issues to the Support Team through the new support tool at http://education.oracle.com/pls/eval-eddap-dcd/OU_SUPPORT_OCP.home?p_source=OCP. The team will respond within 3 business days. Typically, the response time is 24-48 hours.

Hello Harold and the OCP Team,

I am glad to see that Oracle makes some efforts to improve our (your clients) experience in getting heard. It was real pain to get to speak with any OCP representatives in the past. I hope that this initiative will make a difference.

Just tried to use the "new request tool" to get my broken OCM profile (messy information) on Oracle Eduction web fixed. Filled in form and after pushing submit button got the following error:
"An error occurred: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small. Please try again later."

Question: How I can report a problem on the "new request tool" if this form doesn't work?

Thank you in advance for your answer,

Yury,

OCP 7.3/8/8i/9i/10g/11g OCM 9i/10g/11g :)

Hi Yury,
I saw your tweet about your OCM profile and I apologize. I know that OCM's have been very dedicated to get to that level of achievement and these profiles are an important benefit of that achievement. Just to give you a little background, we have moved these profiles to a new platform and have had a little difficulty with them since they were moved. I assure you that we are working on getting these bugs fixed so that this process runs as smoothly as it did before. I have already contacted the profile team and asked them to take a look at your OCM profiles and get the issue sorted out asap.

Regarding the issue with the SR tool, this is the first time I've seen this error. I've also notfied the team about this issue to sort out what the problem is. Our new SR tool has been working great and has cut down on turn-around times for candidate issues, so we want to be sure that we address any problems as quickly as possible! Thanks for bringing this error to our attention.

We do not anticipate problems with this tool often, so if there is an issue with submitting an SR, you've done the right thing. You can contact us here, on the blog, via Twitter, Facebook, or our Certification Forum http://bitly.com/iRHsSl and we will notify the proper team to address the issue right away and get the SR tool back online.

You should be hearing from the profile team soon to verify your content.

Thanks,
Brandye Barrington

Hi Vikram,
Have a look at our FAQ http://bit.ly/chs7nA, under Certificate and Logo, under the question "I have not received my certification success kit. What do I do?" This will give you the information that you need.

Hi OCP Team
I have raised the Service Request:22180917, to issue my OCP success kit which is showing the status shipped in certview since 12-JUL-2011. My testing ID is How can I check the status of the Service Request raised for the issue. Earlier I raised the Service Request for same purpose but got hard closed without providing the required information, as I could not find the option to view the SR:22099701. My Oracle Certification Program ID is SR3120514. Please help.

Regards,
Sandeep

Sandeep,
The team responded to your first SR, but closed because they never received a response from you. Please be sure that their emails are not going to your junk mail folder. I see that they replied to SR 22180917 today to let you know that they have reshipped your kit.

Brandye Barrington
