Using Exam Topics As Your Guide

0422A.jpg

Please remember to use the Exam Topics list as your guide when you study for Oracle certification exams. The Exam Topics are available for every single exam on the "exam details" page. I suggest that you use the Exam Topics to create a table and rate your knowledge for each topic: strong, medium, weak or some sort of number rating indicating strength or weakness. By using this method you can better know where to focus your time and effort in studying and practicing for the exam. Without exception - when a candidate understands and practices the material based around the Exam Topics, he/she has a very good chance of doing well on the test. I know that this will work for you.

When you consider that none of our courses, books, practice exams, etc. is written or taught exactly to the test, then the only way that you can know precisely what to focus your studies on is by using the Exam Topics. So regardless of what training methods you are considering or currently using, you need to take a close look at the Exam Topics.

I hope that this tip helps you in your preparation to become certified.

Thanks and best of luck!

I tried to search for *exam topics* in regard to Java EE 6 certifications on Oracle site but failed to find them. It would be of a great help, if one could post Java exam topics links here.

Hi Ed, The search field that you see on certification.oracle.com is OUs search tool. It is a course search tool rather than a site search tool. If you'll go to certification.oracle.com and select All Exams under Exams in the tabs across the top of the page, you'll find a list of all Oracle exams. You'll find the Java EE6 exams under 'Middleware.' They are exams CX-310-085, CX-310-093, CX-310-094, CX-310-232. If you'll click on one of these exam numbers, you'll be taken to a page that lists the exam objectives for the exam you selected. If you need further assistance with these exams, please contact suncert_ww@oracle.com. Regards, Brandye

Hi, Brandye Barrington, I tried to go to certification.oracle.com, then I opened every of CX-310-085, CX-310-093, CX-310-094, CX-310-232 exams BUT, I didn't find any exam information (topics for example). Your site just shows the "No exam information for the specified page" string and that's all. How can I find topics for Java EE6 exam?Is there any other web resource, which I can use for this? Thank you.

Hi Sergey, Yes, it looks like the links to the Java EE6 exams from the Certification track pages are messed up. We've notified the web team to get these links fixed. In the mean time, if you go to certification.oracle.com (as you did) and select 'ALL EXAMS' under the 'Exams' tab, you will be take to a page where you will see a list of all current Oracle Certification Exams. You will be able to link to each of the exam pages from this page. Regards, Brandye Barrington
