FAQ: Sun-Certified Candidates Requesting Oracle-Branded Logos

0399C1.jpg
Earlier in the week, we responded to an FAQ about Sun Certified Candidates requesting Oracle-branded Certificates to replace their Sun Certificates. We are also receiving a large number of requests from candidates to replace their Sun Certification Logos with Oracle Certification Logos.

Only candidates who pass the certification exams from September 1, 2010 forward will receive the Oracle certificate and logo. Any candidates who became certified prior to September 1, 2010 will receive the Sun certificate and logo. If you were Sun certified prior to September 1, 2010 and request a new certificate after September 1, 2010, you will still receive a Sun certificate and logo.

We hope this helps to clear up any confusion. For further details and official Oracle Certification policies, please visit the Oracle Certification FAQs.

Hi Mahmoud, First you should check certmanager.com/sun to see if your exam is showing up in your account. If the exam shows up, but the certification has not been granted, there may be an issue. Please contact suncert_ww@oracle.com, explain the situation to them and they will be able to assist. Please be sure to include your prometric ID. Regards, Brandye Barrington

Hi Guest,
CertManager is no longer available. Your logos should be avaliable soon on CertView (certview.oracle.com), but not yet. We will make the announcement here, on this blog, when the Sun Certification history is available on CertView. Please contact suncert_ww@oracle.com and they will be able to assist you with your logos. Provide your full name, ID and which logo(s) you need.

Rumshid,
After you have tried to authorize your CertView account 3 times and the authorization has failed 3 times, your account will be referred for manual authorization. Please go ahead and complete your 3 attempts. At that time, the account will be referred for manual processing and you should receive resolution within 72 hours.

shubham,
sir i have cleared my SCSA part 1 and part2 before 1 month. But my certificate is not coming. So what can i do............

Posted by Shubham Goyal on November 29, 2011 at 10:09 PM PST #

Hi Shubham,
On October 1, a training requirement was implemented for this path http://bit.ly/gdADK9. If you passed your exams after this date, you will need to complete training. First, you should login to your account at certview.oracle.com and view your exam and certification history to ensure that all exams are recorded in your account. Then you can see if the certification was granted under the Certification History tab. At the bottom of that page, you will see detailed instructions ror how to move forward.

Dear Guest,
I'm not completely sure what your question is. From your post, I see that you were able to login and view your exam history in CertView. But you ask what you should next. Are you waiting on your certificate? If so, did you complete training and submit your course form? Since October 1, training is required for this certification.

Umesh,
Please go to pearsonvue.com/oracle and select 'Create an Account.' As you create your account, you will be asked for your Prometric ID (candidate ID). Please provide that. If, for any reason, Pearson VUE assigns you a new ID, please contact them immediately (pearsonvue.com/oracle/idmerge) to have the IDs merged.

Then, you can access your logos at certview.oracle.com You will need the email address and Oracle Testing ID from your Pearson VUE account to authenticate your CertView account. You should wait at least one hour after creating your Pearson VUE account to try to authenticate CertView.
