Beta Testing Opportunity Continues for “Program with PL/SQL” Certification Exam (1Z1-144)

Beta testing continues for the new “Oracle Database 11g: Program with PL/SQL” certification exam (1Z1-144) certification beta exam.

This test is offered as an alternative option to taking existing exam 1Z0-147 (Program with PL/SQL) for both the Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate (OCA) and Oracle Advanced PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional (OCP) certification tracks.

Candidates are encouraged to register for and take the beta exam while it is still available at the special beta price of $50 USD. Beta exams are an excellent way to directly provide your input into the final version of the certification exam as well as be one of the very first certified in the track. Furthermore – passing the beta counts for full final exam credit.

Comments:

I do not know if is my thinking is right (should be) as try "replace" words "working xxx years in PL/SQL" someting like "I worked low years/months in PL/SQL but I worked on my knowledge a lof - look i have this certifiaction". So certifiaction should says someting like "this is not looser", but when I m looking on PL/SQL certifiactions I m not sure if PL/SQL OCP something means, tests looks easy (not very easy, but ... it is for jouniors, advanced programer can not be interested in PLSQL OCP). So? My questrion is - why you have not a more levels in certifications (PL/SQL) ? Maybe something like DBA OCM? Something bigger and harder. Should I take DBA OCM and OCP PL/SQL for saying : "OCM - i m not loser, OCP PLSQL- but i m not DBA" I m sorry when I will try find some work I want show certification and wanna listen "awesome" not "boooring"

Hello Azor, Thank you for your comments. At this time, the PL/SQL path does not meet our parameters for an OCM-level certification. We do continue to monitor this certification for a higher-level path. This is why we released the Advanced PL/SQL developer certification last year some time. Thank you for your support of Oracle Certification. Regards, Brandye Barrington
