    Hi Prashant,
Oracle has gone green and we are no longer sending hard copies of certificates. You can download and print your certificate in certview.oracle.com. You can also share your digital certification badge through CertView as official verification of your certification.

Can I get cirtificate after writing the exam 1z0-061
  • Brandye Barrington Tuesday, February 27, 2018
    Hi Shaik,
You will not receive a certification after passing only exam 1Z0-061. This exam can serve as the first exam in a Developer or DBA Certified Associate Path. But you will need to pass the next exam in the path in order to earn a certification.

You can see the certification paths here:
    Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate
    https://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=653&get_params=p_id:162#tabs-1-2

Oracle Database 12c R2 Administration Certified Associate
    https://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=654&get_params=p_id:492&p_org_id=1080544&lang=US#tabs-1-2

There is a SQL exam that will give you a certification and also fulfill the SQL requirement for both of the certification paths mentioned above.

Passing Oracle Database SQL 1Z0-071 (https://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=5001&get_params=p_exam_id:1Z0-071) will earn you the certification Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate.

I gave java SE8 certification exam on 4 October and I haven't received certificate and more then 48 hours has passed .What should I do.
  • Brandye Barrington Tuesday, October 9, 2018
    Hi Shireen,
It depends on which exam you took as to whether or not you should have received a certificate. If you took the OCP exam (809), you'll also need to have the OCA certification as a prerequisite.

Go to your account at certview.oracle.com and see what is reflecting in your account.

If you continue to have issues, please contact the Oracle Certification Support Team (https://help-education.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=109:1:106206616802225::::p_prod_id,p_org_id,p_lang:3,1001,US). They should be able to assist.

    Congratulations on passing your exam!

I'm currently preparing for OCM JEA 6.
I chose a course that has required prerequisites. My question is, will I be required to also undertake the required prerequisites in order to get certified after passing the three exams?

I gave 1Z0-1001 , how long it will take for my cert to appear in my cert view account?
  • Brandye Williams Barrington Monday, June 10, 2019
    Hi Justus,
Sorry to take so long to reply. You will need to complete all requirements in order to earn the certification. Even when you pass all exams, your certification will only be granted once you have completed all requirements.

    Justus,
I'm sorry for the late reply. To answer your question (if you haven't already gotten it answered through another outlet), you will need to complete all requirements in order to earn the certification. Even if you pass all exams, your certification will only be granted once you've completed all requirements, including required training.

    Hi Fekir,
Yes, you will need to purchase a new voucher for your 2nd attempt at the exam. I'd also like to point out other options to you.

You're pursuing 11g certification, but we are now offering 2019 certification that is based on Oracle Database 19c. You may want to consider pursuing a more current version of certification. Your 051 exam will fulfill the SQL requirement for 12c DBA OCA certification. Or, if you wish, you can move on to Oracle Database Administration 2019 certification by passing the new exams 1Z0-082 and 1Z0-083. Training is not required for the OCP level of this certification.

There is a lot to consider. I recommend you contact an Oracle University representative to discuss your options and find the best path for you.

    Hi Asmi,
The 11g certification exams retire the end of this year. I expect we will begin discussions on when the 12c exams will retire at that time.

We will likely give 6 months notice when the decision is made to retire 12c exams. But I don't have any firm dates to give you.

Here is something to think about. If you earn the 12c OCA certification, you can move directly to the 2019 OCP certification by only passing exam 1Z0-083. So, if you continue with your 12c OCA path now, you'll still have a simple way to upgrade to the latest certification.

Another option is to simply switch gears and begin preparation for the most current version of Oracle Database Certification - https://education.oracle.com/oracle-database-administration-2019-certified-professional/trackp_DB19COCP
