Although
recruitment is the same as talent acquisition, there are connotations to the
latter concept. We refer to talent acquisition when it is not only to carry out
a simply hiring process, when the process is focused on acquiring assets. In
actual organizations Human Capital is considered the most integral part for the
development of the organization. That is why recruitment plays such an
important role in successful organizations such as Oracle. We do not think of
recruitment as a process of filling open positions anymore, it is an entirely
tactical process. Strategic talent acquisition is a long term view of filling
open positions not only today but also using the candidates that come out of a
recruiting campaign.

Recruiting Cloud Service is a tool that has helped us to reach the optimal
state by automating e-recruitment and providing talent intelligence from data
captured during the hiring process. It allows us to enhance the insight into
the candidates and employees through a detailed description of the candidate
and also a meticulous historical file which describe the different steps by
which the candidate has passed through.

Since
the migration to Taleo last summer, Recruiters at Oracle are able to have a
clear compilation of the candidates and follow them along the recruitment
process. Taleo has provided benefits not only for our daily work activities
when it comes to building talent pools in international markets or streamlining
a recruitment process, but by improving the quality of hiring by 33% affecting
positively to all the parties implied. There are numerous benefits for the
candidates in the social sourcing field since Taleo offers the possibility to
match the social networks profiles of the potential candidates to allow them to
apply for a specific position.
