Access Manager working with other SSO Products

So, A Sun customer is asking about integrating SJS Access Manager and Portal Server with their existing SSO product.   According to the competitor's data sheets, they support SAML 2.0 and Liberty.   But I'm one of those guys who actually likes to confirm things and see it working.   I download the product from the site, and I need a License Key.   I put in my request and get this in response:
Your request was not approved since your download(s) took place from a
competitor's domain. We have a policy of not providing licenses to our
competitors.
Ok, I could have put my Gmail or other email account and made up a company name, but that just seems sleazy, not to mention its unethical.   Would it be illegal too?  No, idea but I don't want to find out!

The part that annoys me is that I'm trying to help the customer and I have to deal with this crap.

As for Sun, If you want to check out our Access Manager product just download it from http:///www.sun.com/downloads/   Or better yet, download it, check out the source code, and contribute to it at http://opensso.dev.java.net/
And check out the Docs at http://docs.sun.com/
