Java Realtime Now Available for Linux
By mduigou on Apr 22, 2008
I have been working lately with Java Realtime for a JavaOne project and I am really impressed with the extensions it provides Java. RealtimeThreads and some of the Clock features would sure help with some of the complicated parts of JXTA JXSE! I've done most of my work using the 2.0 Solaris version but the new 2.1 version is expected soon. In addition to a new thread visualization tool, new DTrace scripts and other improvements the big news for the 2.1 release is that Java RTS now supports Linux. Two realtime Linux distributions have been qualified so far and more can probably be expected.
