Cloudcamp Thoughts

I went to the Cloudcamp unconference last night. It was the largest unconference I've been to and it worked really well even with the 250 or so participants that attended. There were about 30 breakout sessions over 3 hours (10 an hour) and 3-4 lightning talks. With that much material there was definitely more going interesting stuff going on at any given time than one person could attend.

My biggest conclusion from the night is that cloud computing isn't yet as defined as I thought it might be and that even though everyone's pushing ahead with it and knows that it's the future direction nobody seems to be sweating yet that it's not completely nailed down. Let's try some things and see what happens. We'll get there. It will work. It will evolve. ("And they have a plan"...no sorry, different topic.) This approach works for me.
