Sun Ray at Home becomes more affordable

Recently Sun has started bundling Sun Ray Software along with Sun Solaris Enterprise System, so people who don't want to purchase support can now get it for free without any license fees or software cost.

What a deal! My wife just wrote and published a book using our Sun Rays and included an acknowledgement for them:
"Instant Romanian For Parents And Caregivers".

We hardly ever turn on our PCs any more, and flinch every time we do.

Comments:

Just found your blog, its cool that its about sunray stuff, Very timely I have recently deployed a SunRay at home, my oldest Son his very happy with it, as documented here http://uadmin.blogspot.com/2006/02/how-my-son-uses-sunray.html of course I haven't got him transfered to Solaris yet, but it does do a good job and has probably lowered our power bill in the proccess. If you are looking for ideas for the future blogs, I would love to hear about software that uses the video in port on the sunray, there seems to be no info on how to make it work and what limits it has. Would also like info on what usb devices are supported, I know flash drives are but what about usb cameras etc.
