Bed Bath & Beyond modernizes its retail technology operations with Oracle Cloud

Bed Bath & Beyond recently chose Oracle to help improve the omnichannel retail experience for its customers. With Oracle’s retail and finance solutions, Bed Bath & Beyond is fueling its “digital-first, omni-always” strategy by improving its ability to predict and meet inventory demand, better serve its customers and foster long-term growth. 

In 2020, Bed Bath & Beyond successfully launched several initiatives to deliver an omni-always shopping experience, launching Buy-Online-Pick-Up-In-Store (BOPIS), contactless Curbside Pickup, and Same Day Delivery. This strategy has driven strong digital sales growth across key categories, using stores as a strategic asset to provide customers with greater speed, convenience and certainty when they shop.  

Running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Bed Bath & Beyond  will use Oracle Retail Merchandising Cloud Service, Oracle Retail Store Inventory Operations Cloud Service, and the Oracle Retail Science Platform to ensure the accuracy of item data and see real-time inventory availability no matter where a product is sitting. This will help the company support continued omnichannel growth.

Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management will also help the retailer glean real-time insight into operations to support strategic planning decisions.
