Mughees oversees product management and strategy for MySQL Database, Enterprise Manager and OCI Observability & Management technologies. He has more than 20 years of experience developing some of the most widely used Oracle technologies like AWR, ASH, DB Replay, SQL Profiles, etc., and is currently working on MySQL Heatwave, the next generation of cloud databases. He holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is currently senior vice president in Oracle’s Corporate Architecture organization.
