Mark Hura

  • Mark M. Hura is senior vice president of North America Technology for Oracle. He is responsible for leading the day-to-day business operations and sales organizations for the North America Technology business.

     

    Hura’s organization engages with Oracle’s largest enterprise customers, key accounts, small-to-medium businesses, public sector agencies, and ISVs through direct and indirect sales, business development, solution engineering, and consulting. Hura joined Oracle in 2013, and he brings more than 20 years of technology, customer engagement, and executive management experience to help Oracle’s installed-base customers with their technology platform strategy and data management solutions.

     

    Prior to this role, Hura was senior vice president of global sales for Oracle Utilities, where he led all global sales resources. He was also responsible for the development of strategic customer relationships with Utilities across all of Oracle’s portfolio, managing go-to-market strategies, and ensuring delivery on sales and commercial commitments to Oracle Utilities’ client base.

     

    Before joining Oracle, Hura spent nearly 17 years at GE, where he was most recently the general manager of sales for GE’s Digital Energy business, which focused on GE’s electrification portfolio supporting the utilities industry. He held various global leadership roles, including general manager of global sales for Transmission and Distribution, global commercial leader, and general manager of North America Sales.

     

    Hura holds a BS degree in electrical engineering from the University of Connecticut.
