Hi, A group of colleagues and I are planning to submit a session proposal, and we're stuck trying to make sense of some of the fields in the CFP. I'm wondering if you might be able to help with the following (or redirect me to an appropriate person):

1) "Session Category", a mandatory field, isn't defined anywhere. Where can I find any information about this?

2) Can you point me to a source for good "Attendee Role" and "Tags" definitions?

3) Some of us are independent consultants (without professional corporate affiliations). But since "Organization", "Division", and "Title" are mandatory fields, would it be acceptable to just fill in something like "not applicable"?

Thanks for any help with this.

We've submitted the JavaOne 2012 CFP India form. Do we get a email notification regarding a successful submission? Is there some way we could confirm the submission.
