Staying Busy with Fault Handling

Busy? So are Guido Schmutz and Ronald van Luttikhuizen. Guido, an Oracle ACE Director, is Technology Manager for SOA and Emerging Trends at Trivadis. Ronald, also an Oracle ACE Director, is is Managing Partner and Architect at Vennster. But the fun doesn't stop there. Guido and Ronald pack their already strained schedules with writing projects and speaking engagements.

For instance, Guido is part of the team of experts behind Industrial SOA, a series of articles that just began running on OTN. And Guido is also the author of Oracle Service Bus 11g Development Cookbook (2012, Packt Publishing), co-author of Service Oriented Architecture: An Integration Blueprint (2010, Packt Publishing), and a contributor to Do more with SOA Integration: Best of Packt (2011).

Ronald is co-author, with fellow Oracle ACE Director Lonneke Dikmans, of SOA Made Simple (2012, Packt Publishing), and recently spoke at the Oracle User Group Norway 2013 (which was held on a cruise ship in the Baltic Sea), just one of several speaking engagements.

Also, Guido and Ronald have been panelists on several OTN ArchBeat Podcasts.

As if that's not enough, Guido and Ronald are collaborating on a series of OTN articles covering fault handling. The second article in the series, Fault Handling and Prevention for Services in Oracle Service Bus is now available on OTN.

Guido and Ronald sat down long enough to do a brief video interview with me just yesterday. Check it out:

Ronald and Guido are active on social media, so you should have no trouble connecting with them if you have questions.
