Among the 6,452 fans of the OTN ArchBeat Facebook Page, the 10 items below where the most popular for the last seven days, February 6-12, 2015.
Launched in March 2009, the OTN ArchBeat Podcast has produced 283 individual programs. Each podcast starts as a 30 minute panel discussion (give or take a few minutes) featuring anywhere from two to six panelists, drawn from my ever-growing list of what I call "the usual suspects." Those 30-minute programs are then cut into roughly 10-minute segments. To date, those 283 individual segments have been downloaded nearly 300,000 times. The recording, editing, and overall production is done right here in my home office.
Consistently one of the most popular Oracle podcasts, listeners have kept OTN ArchBeat in the #2 position for the past six months, second only to the Oracle Database Podcast.
That's the history. But the real purpose of this post is to highlight the Top 10 most popular programs over the past year. Many, many thanks to the panelists who keep the programs interesting, and to the listeners who keep the podcast alive.
What are you looking at? If you're one of the 5,949 people following the OTN ArchBeat Facebook Page, the chances are good that over the last seven days (November 14-20, 2014) you were looking at one of these Top 10 most popular items.
The 3,207 people who follow @OTNArchBeat are known for their bold fashion choices and cool dance moves. They made the tweets listed below the Top 10 most popular for the last seven days, October 7-13, 2014.
I spent most of last week at Oracle OpenWorld 2014, so much of this week's list of Top 10 @OTNArchBeat tweet reflects what was going on around me in the OTN Lounge and elsewhere. (And, yes, the missing phone mentioned in #6 was located and returned to its rightful owner. Now that's community!)
The OTN ArchBeat Facebook Page now has 5,000 followers! Here are the Top 10 most popular items posted on that page over the last seven days, March 21-27, 2014.

|Starting next week the OTN ArchBeat Podcast will present a series of programs recorded during a virtual roundtable discussion featuring four experts on SOA Governance. That roundtable included Manuel Rosa and André de Oliveira Sampaio, co-authors of the article SOA Governance Through Enterprise Architecture (now available on OTN), and the gentlemen you see in the videos below.|
Oracle ACE Luis Weir is senior Oracle solution director (EMEA & APAC) for HCL AXON and the co-author (along with Andrew Bell) of Oracle SOA Governance 11g Implementation
Mark Dutra is senior principal product manager for API Management at Oracle and a member of the Oracle Enterprise Repository product team.
So while you're waiting for part one of the podcast series (it'll be available one week from today), you can read Manuel and Andre's article, read Luis's book, and watch the interviews with Luis and Mark.
That should keep you busy.
