Hi Danilo and Bob,

How nice to see process mining coming up in this interview! It's certainly true that ACM and process mining are a great match: While allowing for more flexibility in the process handling via ACM process mining then adds the possibility to gain transparency about what is actually happening.

The only thing I would like to add is that process mining is not just a research topic anymore. For example, there is an annual process mining conference called Process Mining Camp (see http://processminingcamp.com) that is strictly focusing on the practical application of process mining and takes place for the third time this year in June.

If you would like to learn more about process mining, you can take a look at this 15-min video recording, which includes an introduction and a live demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ql1S1wAxJ0E (a longer version including application examples is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCpY90T3rQk)

Thanks,
Anne
