Arch2Arch Podcast Show Notes: Oracle Enterprise Architecture Framework and OOW09 Preview

Parts one and two of my interview with Hamza Jahangir and Bob Covington are now available.  Hamza and Bob are part of the team behind the development of the Oracle Enterprise Architecture Framework (OEAF).

In the just-released second and final segment of the interview Hamza and Bob talk about what they see as the biggest obstacles to the implementation of any enterprise architecture framework, and voice their opinions on the perception that Enterprise Architecture kills innovation.

Bob and Hamza close out the interview with a quick look at some of the Enterprise Architecture-related content and activities taking place just days from now at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco (more on that below).

If you have questions or comments for Bob or Hamza, you can connect with them through the following: social media:

Thanks for your question!

I am unaware of any documented comparison prepared by Oracle that compares the Oracle Enterprise Architecture Framework with the Federal Enterprise Architecture. However, these two documents might help you make your own comparison:

Oracle Enterprise Architecture Framework:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/entarch/oea-framework-133702.pdf

Federal Enterprise Architecture:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/omb/assets/egov_docs/fea_v2.pdf

Also, you will find an entire library of free Oracle reference architectures and other documentation here:

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
