Job #1: Making Cloud Customers Successful

It’s expected that the first priority for a sales organization would be the customers’ success. We find it particularly refreshing to hear the same priority holds for a development organization. Oracle Apps Development EVP Steve Miranda makes it clear, in this interview with Profit, that across the cloud-based apps, our primary focus is “making sure our early customers are successful.”

And he urges our existing customers on Oracle’s EBS, Siebel, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards to take the product upgrades that provide better user interface, more mobile capabilities, BI, and more. He also recommends they take a baby step into the cloud by deploying an application in a particular area of interest or need to get a big payoff with little disruption.
