Chart Your Course Oracle Applications Tour: Madrid


Madrid was yet another stop on the Oracle Applications Chart Your Course Tour. On the 8th of March Oracle leaders and key customers and partners came together to share common goals and objectives and discuss how Oracle's strategy could help.

Presentations covered a number of topics including Oracle's ongoing strategy for existing product lines such as Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Siebel as well as Oracle's strategy for how next-generation applications will add value to these existing investments. Neil Ramsay, Senior Director of Oracle Product Strategy, shared insights into Oracle Fusion Applications deisgn principles and co-existence strategies in a presentation that was very much appreciated by the nearly 200 customers and partners in attendance.

Additional topics included José Estéves, profesor del Instituto de Empresa who covered key innovations and business strategies for Cloud computing, mobility, social business, and the latest trends in CRM and BI solutions. The presentation closed with a ceremony in which 25 awards were given to a host of customers celebrating more than 10 years of success with their Oracle Applications strategies.

The evening closed with an exclusive event for attendees, an invitation only reception and networking gathering at the Museo del Prado which lasted until nearly midnight.
