Fusion Apps: When Everyone Comes Together

A guest post by Steve Miranda, SVP Applications Development, Oracle

Now that Oracle Fusion Applications is released, it’s great to have a chance to reflect on the extraordinary effort and achievement that this product suite represents for our customers, for the software industry, and for Oracle. As you know, we designed Fusion from the ground up on the next gen technology (this is no dot release) and made it available in many different deployment models and adoption scenarios. But there will be plenty of posts where we can tell you more about the product – today I want to tip my hat to the people who brought you Fusion.

It’s been an incredible journey and privilege to work with the Oracle Fusion Apps development teams these past few years. But the real heroes are the customers and partners like you who tirelessly gave us your commitment and feedback as we built this new generation of enterprise applications. And now we can all be proud as Fusion gains momentum in the marketplace. Commercial deals are rolling in and our early customers are graduating from the Early Adopter Program to run their businesses on our products. Whether you are preparing to go into production mode with Fusion or just thinking about learning more about the suite, rest assured that Fusion can solve your business problems today and five years from now.

Please continue to tune into this blog for the latest on Fusion – we’ll do our best to make the content interesting and thought provoking. And in the same spirit that we built Fusion, we’d love to have you participate. Leave a comment, let me know what you think.

Cheers,
Steve
