This post provides an overview of and a landing page for Private Fusion Analytics. Private Fusion Analytics enables the ability to have private IP addresses in a private subnet within a virtual could network in your tenancy. It compliments the official documentation.

Included within are architectural diagrams, component descriptions and links to references that guide you in the various aspects of using Private Fusion Analytics.

Architecture Initial State

The initial state illustration below depicts:

  • The Oracle Cloud Applications (Oracle Applications) tenancy is subscribed to universal credits and to a region available for Fusion Analytics.
  • Fusion Analytics is activated in the Oracle Applications tenancy.
  • The Oracle Applications users, groups and application roles are synchronized to the tenancy's identity management system.
  • The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure compartment is selected.
  • The  administrator has privileges via policy rules to provision an instance and has the credentials for the FAWservice user account in oracle applications.

Additional networking and compute resources are necessary to access private Fusion Analytics. Typically, one or more of these methods are used:

  • Initial, short-term methods.
  • Internet access methods.
  • Private access methods using VPN and FastConnect.
