Alejandro Vargas

Oracle database servers are best managed using Grid Control.

Grid Control provides broad online and historic information and management features for the  database and the whole environment, including Servers, Applications, Services, etc.

It is advisable to move the Database Control Enterprise Manager Repository from the database to a central location, from where we will be able to manage all our environments.

This document: How to Migrate a RAC Database to Grid Control, describe the process of moving from a local Database Control repository to a centralized one using Grid Control.
