The Markie Awards—Oracle’s longstanding award program for customer experience (CX) excellence—added two new categories for advertising! Nominations are free, so nominate as many customers as you’d like, in as many categories as their stories fit.

For more than a decade, the Markie Awards have applauded customer achievements. This year, the Markies team has created 14 categories to highlight achievements spanning the breadth of customer experience (CX) in marketing, commerce, sales, service, and now two new categories specifically designed to showcase excellence in advertising.

Submissions are open now through March 26

Consider submitting a nomination to earn much-deserved recognition for your work! The 15th Annual Markie Awards will be virtual, enabling you to celebrate your achievements during what has been a challenging year.

Advertisers have spent the past 12 months adjusting their strategies with rapidly changing consumer preferences –– and your efforts deserve the spotlight. Do one of the following categories help elevate your story?

The Context Award for Best Application of Positive Contextual Targeting

This is a great fit if your organization used data to deliver the right message at just the right time using contextual targeting. This Markie recognizes a campaign that generated a splash by leveraging contextual intelligence technology to target trending moments.

The Convergence Award: Best Agency Collaboration to Drive Better Outcomes for Client Campaigns

This Markie acknowledges collaborations between Oracle Advertising (formerly Data Cloud) and agencies or AdTech partners who excelled at innovation.

I’m in! How can I share a story?

It’s easy. Nominate yourself for one (or more!) of this year’s 14 categories. There’s no charge involved, so you can also applaud members of your team or agencies who have helped you by nominating them. But hurry, the call for nominations ends on Friday, March 26.

What are the judges looking for?

Winning entries create connections, change minds, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in advertising and customer experience. In particular, judges look for entries that:

  • Inspire – How have you succeeded despite this challenging time?

  • Tell us a story – What pictures, videos, or graphs can help judges understand your achievement?

  • Provide measurable results – Which metrics do you boast about to your manager and team?

    For the Context Award, share the impact gained and share results like revenue, conversion, engagement, and reach.

    For the Convergence Award, highlight the innovations you provided your clients and impactful campaign outcomes like revenue, reach, conversion, growth, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.

A few notes to remember

  • The Markies is a global program that honors innovation and achievement in advertising and customer experience. All CX professionals and organizations worldwide in advertising, marketing, commerce, sales, and service are eligible to enter.

  • You can enter multiple categories, but please submit a specific initiative for one category only. Also, your campaign needs to have taken place in the past year.

  • Companies of all sizes can win. This year, there are even two separate categories to allow enterprise and small, midsize, or medium-size companies to be compared only within those categories.

  • The winners will be announced by video this year, so you don’t need to be present at any awards show to win.

When will I hear the results?

The judges will announce finalists in June and celebrate the winners virtually via video in mid-July. Keep an eye on the Markies page for details.

Now is not the time for modesty. Don’t be shy and don’t hesitate. Submit your nominations by Friday, March 26.
