Oracle JDeveloper 14 includes two new features to facilitate your transition to the cloud:
You can also host your applications in a cloud environment with the Oracle WebLogic Server for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
To upgrade your applications, simply open your workspaces in the new version of JDeveloper, and we will handle the rest. Please remember to back up your code before initiating any upgrade activities.
Note that the visual editor for JSF/JSP requires JavaFX, which is no longer included in the JDK distribution. We have provided a JavaFX extension to simplify this process, which can be accessed through the Help->Check for Updates menu.
We look forward to seeing your applications running on Oracle's latest technology stack.
