Vietnam educators employ Oracle Academy Cloud Program technology in their classrooms

As a part of Oracle Academy’s involvement in the BUILD-IT Alliance in Vietnam, educators from selected engineering and technology universities recently attended a virtual event hosted by Oracle Academy to introduce the Oracle Academy Cloud Program (OACP) and provide hands-on demonstration.

Eighteen educators keen to understand the Oracle Academy Cloud Program attended the event and learned how they can connect to the Oracle Cloud free of charge to teach, explore and build.

Oracle Academy Country Manager for Vietnam, Michelle Gao, provided attendees with an update on the latest Oracle Academy offerings, including the newly launched Oracle Academy Member Hub. A local speaker with rich Oracle Cloud experience, Binh Do from Oracle Vietnam, then delivered an in-depth presentation about the Oracle Academy Cloud Program, including demonstrations and how to request their free Cloud accounts and build ‘Always Free’ services on the cloud. As an Oracle Cloud expert for the Vietnam market, Binh also shared important information about Oracle Cloud case studies in Vietnam to inspire attendees to adopt the Oracle Academy Cloud Program in their classrooms.

The BUILD-IT Alliance is a public-private ecosystem in Vietnam that supports educational quality and development at participating Vietnamese universities. Along with USAID and Arizona State University (ASU), Oracle Academy is a partner in the BUILD-IT project and supports these Vietnamese universities in the ongoing development of industry-relevant computing courses that prepare students for careers.
