On July 28, 2021, Garland Independent School District (Texas) faculty had the opportunity to attend a live webcast training with Oracle Academy experts.

Oracle Academy Marketing Specialist Erik Young facilitated an hour-long session overview of Oracle Academy teaching and learning resources available for faculty to integrate into their everyday lessons. The resources overview included full course curriculum for database and Java, Oracle Academy Education Bytes, Oracle Academy Workshops-in-a-Box, and certification pathways for Database and Java aligned to career technical education.

Additionally, Oracle Academy Curriculum Developer and Content Manager Alyssa Cotton provided an instructional roadmap of the Oracle Academy Member Hub, a state-of-the-art learning management system. During this demonstration, Alyssa highlighted how faculty members can access curriculum for their classroom, register for educator professional development, gain assistance from dedicated modules, and create learning pathways for students.

Oracle Academy understands and values educators as partners who are empowered to facilitate innovative student learning inside and outside the classroom. As part of our free resources, we offer access to Oracle Academy curriculum, professional development, and teaching and learning resources to all Institutional members.
