On September 28-29, 2023, Oracle Academy staff attended the Aco-Tec University Conference in Vienna, an event for the education, research, and science sector, especially aimed at those responsible for information technology.
At the conference, the Oracle Red Bull racing simulator made available for educators and technology experts to enjoy. Red Bull develops their cars in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and uses OCI for real-time race management. The behind the wheel racing simulator shows the data, analytics and cloud technology that lead to winning racing strategies.
The aim is to show users how data analytics help adapt and improve behavior and decision-making. At the same time, with the simulator, Oracle demonstrates the power and unparalleled possibilities of modern technologies such as AI, machine learning, and the cloud. The partnership with Oracle Red Bull is driven by data, and Oracle technology is involved in race strategy, young driver development, engine development, and fan experience.

On day two of the conference, Johannes Ferner, Oracle Senior Manager, Account Cloud Engineering, EMEA Cloud Prime Presales North, presented on the Oracle Generative AI strategy, which is being implemented in the Oracle Cloud together with Oracle strategic partners NVIDIA and Cohere.
